In our efforts to showcase Ryan's candidacy for roles aligned with his education, we prioritized highlighting his academic experiences. This involved delving into the skills he acquired during his undergraduate studies over four years.
To delve deeper into his educational background, we requested Ryan's transcripts. This allowed us to pinpoint relevant coursework and associated skills that could bolster his profile.
During the call, we discussed some of Ryan's key projects in more depth, including capstone projects, major coursework, group work, and even practical exams. By doing so, we aimed to illustrate instances where Ryan applied his acquired skills, especially considering his limited direct work experience in the field.
Additionally, we paid particular attention to Ryan's engineering internship when shifting towards his professional experiences. This internship served as a valuable opportunity to showcase his work experience and the soft skills he developed and refined during this period.
While crafting the first drafts, we used the list of courses Ryan had sent over to pull out some key skills, lessons learned, and technical processes that he would have gained based on the course descriptions.
We emphasized the projects he had been involved with, highlighting the scope of the project, Ryan’s role and contributions, and the project’s successes and outcome. Through this approach, we aimed to outline a comprehensive picture of Ryan's capabilities and experiences to potential employers.
