2nd Focus Resume Service

A 2nd focus resume is designed to give you the best chance when pursuing alternative career goals. Here’s a look at how we ensure you’re supported and prepared when considering multiple career trajectories:

Determine Your Focus: We recommend focusing on your first priority career path for the first resume. If you’re not sure which one that is our resume writers will discuss your options and develop a plan in your first call. While not mandatory, we highly recommend providing your resume writer with targeted job postings for each of the different career paths you are interested in pursuing.

First Focus Resume: Your initial interview with your resume writer will be the longest and most in depth, where they will delve into your academic and/or professional journey to understand how best to position you strategically for your first focus career path.

2nd Focus Interview: Once your first resume is finalized, you will schedule a new appointment to be interviewed once again by your Resume Writer in a shorter, 30 minute interview. As your writer is familiar with your story they will spend their time diving into the distinct skills and accomplishments you’ve accumulated to help you develop your new 2nd focus document.

Launch Your Career: Once your resumes are approved and finalized this is when additional features of your package will be satisfied, including the LinkedIn Optimization and/or Resume Distribution when selected with the Advanced and Ultimate packages.

This process ensures that you are well positioned to succeed in your job search for whatever paths you pursue.

2nd focus resumes have the same 3 day turnaround time as your first focus document, that is because additional focus resumes are also built from scratch to align with the additional career paths you want to pursue, they are not repurposed versions of your first focus resume.

The review and revision process will also be the same as with your first resume, now that your writer and yourself are experts in collaborating with each other your resume will be typically be finalized even more quickly, to ensure you can begin applying quickly.

You can purchase a stand alone 2nd focus resume within 30 days after the finalization date of your first Resume Target resume. Once 30 days have passed you will be required to purchase a new package to develop your new document.
