⚠️ Known Fraudulent Email Address

resumetarget.us@gmail.com

Anyone contacting you from Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, or any other free email provider is not Resume Target.

⚠️ Never Send Payment This Way

Scammers may ask you to send payment via PayPal or Payoneer to:

  • A QR code
  • A free email address (gmail.com, yahoo.com, hotmail.com, outlook.com, etc.)

Resume Target never asks you to send payment to an email address or scan a QR code. All legitimate purchases are made through our website.

Warning Signs of a Scam

Be cautious if you encounter any of these red flags:

Free Email Addresses

Someone claiming to be from Resume Target contacts you from Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, AOL, iCloud, or any other free email service. We only use @resumetarget.com.

Payment to Email Addresses or QR Codes

You're asked to send payment via PayPal or Payoneer to an email address like @gmail.com, @yahoo.com, @hotmail.com, or @outlook.com—or to scan a QR code. We never ask you to pay this way.

Recruiter Referrals

A "recruiter" tells you about a job opportunity but says you need to use Resume Target first before they can submit you. We don't partner with recruiters who cold-contact candidates.

Fiverr Profiles

You're directed to a Fiverr profile or other freelance marketplace. Resume Target is a professional service operating only through resumetarget.com.

Received a Suspicious Email?

If you've received an email from someone claiming to be Resume Target but using a free email address like Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or Outlook, the best thing you can do is report it as phishing. This helps email providers shut down these accounts.

Report as Phishing on Desktop (Gmail)

  1. Open the suspicious email in Gmail on a desktop or laptop computer
  2. Click the three dots (More) in the top-right corner of the email
  3. Select "Report phishing" from the dropdown menu

Report as Phishing on Mobile (Gmail App)

  1. Open the email in the Gmail app
  2. Tap the three dots (ellipsis) in the top right corner or next to the sender's name
  3. Select "Report spam" or "Report phishing" if available

The Simple Rule

All purchases should be made directly through our website at resumetarget.com—never by sending payment to a Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, or any other free email address.

Fraud Protection FAQs

All legitimate Resume Target communications come exclusively from @resumetarget.com email addresses. We never use Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, or any other free email provider. If someone contacts you from a free email service claiming to be Resume Target, it's a scam.

Do not send any payment. Resume Target never asks clients to send payment to an email address via PayPal, Payoneer, or any other method. We never ask you to scan QR codes for payment. All legitimate purchases are made directly through our website at resumetarget.com with secure payment processing.

No, this is a common scam. Resume Target does not partner with recruiters who cold-contact candidates and require them to pay for resume services before being submitted for a job. Our clients come to us directly through our website—we don't use third-party recruiters to find clients.

Report the email as phishing in your email client (in Gmail: click the three dots and select "Report phishing"). You can also report abuse directly to Google at support.google.com/mail/contact/abuse. Additionally, please notify us through our website chat or by emailing support@resumetarget.com so we can track and report these accounts.

One known fraudulent address is resumetarget.us@gmail.com. However, scammers may create new accounts using Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, or other free providers. The key rule is simple: if it's not from @resumetarget.com, it's not from us.

Our reputation for quality attracts impersonators who try to capitalize on our name. These individuals, often operating from overseas, use our brand to collect payments for services they never deliver. By purchasing directly through our website, you're protected by secure payment processing and our legitimate service guarantees.

If you sent payment via PayPal or a similar service, contact them immediately to dispute the transaction. Report the incident to your bank and file a complaint with the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov. Also report the email as phishing and let us know so we can help track these scammers.

Always purchase directly through our official website at resumetarget.com. Type the URL directly into your browser rather than clicking links in emails. Our website uses secure payment processing, and you'll receive a proper receipt and access to your client portal.
